Umoljani – Lukomir tour is one of the most joyful hiking tours in B&H with an amazing cultural experience of the old Bosnian village and its lifestyle. This tour begins with a 1 hour ride from Sarajevo to Umoljani village located at Bjelašnica mountain. An organic and local mountain products, like milk, yoghurt and smoked meat is a must experience! It takes around 2-3 hours to reach Lukomir with medium to high level of fitness required. Astonishing views over the Bosnian mountains Visočica, Treskavica, Bjelašnica and also the Canyon of Rakitnica. Lukomir’s village is 1496 meters above sea level and it is the highest, all year inhabited and most isolated village in B&H.

Sarajevo-Nahorevo

Great hiking tour around Sarajevo
The hike will start after a 15 minutes drive from Sarajevo to the village of Nahorevo. This is a half-day hike, with a medium level of fitness required.
 It starts with the mountain road, through the valleys and forest, until the Waterfall Skakavac is reached. It is the highest waterfall in B&H with a hight of 98meters. Enjoy the amazing nature, fresh air and a lot of wildlife. At certain points you will see different villages and even the city of Sarajevo. 
In addition, you will have the full experience of drinking cold water from the mountain creeks and enjoy organic and tasty Bosnian food.
